About Lagoon

Lagoon started back in 2009 by Louise Grey, who has always been passionate about art and craftsmanship. She started at home in the corner of a cozy lounge, surrounded by sketches and notes, and began to learn the basics of jewellery making through extensive research and practice. After a dedicated 10-week course in Swansea, she fell head over heels in love with the intricate world of jewellery making and started to sell her unique pieces at small craft events across the region. Since then, she has tirelessly built up her knowledge and skills in jewellery making, constantly experimenting with different materials and techniques. Over the years, her style has evolved and transformed significantly, and now her work showcases more geometric designs and innovative concepts as she continues to expand her expertise in this art form. Louise has, in the past, run small, intimate jewellery workshops that allowed participants to explore their creativity, and these have now joyfully restarted by running them in the picturesque town of Carmarthen, South Wales. Louise lives on a charming small holding in Meidrim, where she moved to in May 2025. With her new studio plans in progress, she will have her own designated building, thriving amidst the beautiful countryside while renovating her new home, where she aims to create even more exquisite and inspiring pieces for her clientele. Now in 2026 she has decided to rebrand Lagoon with a new website and logo to futher push her direction into being more contemporary.
